Do I need a licence to ride an e-bike on the Gold Coast?
No. Our bikes are 250W pedal-assist e-bikes with assistance limited to 25km/h, which makes them road-legal bicycles under Queensland law — no licence or registration required.
Are helmets included?
Yes — an Australian-standard helmet is included free with every hire, along with a security lock and lights. Helmets are mandatory by law in Queensland.
Do you deliver? Which suburbs?
Yes. Pickup in Burleigh Heads is free, and we deliver along the Gold Coast including Palm Beach, Miami, Mermaid Beach, Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise, Coolangatta and Tweed Heads.
How much does e-bike hire cost?
From $80 for four hours. Full-day hires start at $110, and the weekly holiday special starts at $400 — with helmets, locks and lights included on every bike.
How old do I have to be?
Solo riders must be 16 or older. Children can come along in a properly fitted child seat under adult supervision — baby seats are fitted free on request.
Can I carry a surfboard?
Yes — surf racks are fitted free when you book. The HT Cargo Cruiser and Rogue XT both carry boards comfortably.
